Laser je specialista. CO₂ laser skvěle značí sklo a papír, ale na kov ani „nesáhne". Vláknový laser perfektně značí kovy, ale čiré plasty jím projdou bez stopy. Vždy je nutné testovat.
Laser is the specialist. A CO₂ laser marks glass and paper superbly but won't touch metal. A fiber laser marks metals perfectly but passes through clear plastics without a trace. Testing is always required.

V prašných provozech (cementárny, dřevozpracující průmysl) vyžaduje Inkjet zvýšenou péči o filtry a trysky. V čistém prostředí funguje spolehlivě s minimálními zásahy.
In dusty environments (cement plants, wood processing) Inkjet requires extra attention to filters and nozzles. In clean environments it runs reliably with minimal intervention.
🔆 Laser
Laser v prašném prostředí potřebuje pouze kvalitní odsávání a ochranu čočky, ale jinak je k prachu prakticky imunní. Paprsek není ovlivněn okolními podmínkami.
In dusty environments, laser only needs good extraction and lens protection, but is otherwise practically immune to dust. The beam is unaffected by surrounding conditions.

V praxi se technologie doplňují — například v automobilovém průmyslu se Inkjetem tisknou štítky na obaly (karton), zatímco Fiber Laser gravíruje VIN kódy přímo na kovové díly motoru. Nemusíte volit jen jedno řešení.
In practice the technologies complement each other — for example in the automotive industry Inkjet prints labels on packaging (cardboard), while a Fiber Laser engraves VIN codes directly onto metal engine components. You do not have to choose just one solution.
